Artist Statement

Art is the ultimate luxury in a world full of need and desire. It is also an entranceway, an opening of mind, into a world beyond the ordinary. With art, the mind is free to go in any direction. It pushes us to the boundaries of our selves and our worlds so we can see what's out there.

I use mediums of film, photography, and painting. Currently I am exploring interpretations of the Buddhist concept of "Emptiness". [ Emptiness is not nothingness, but an expression of the very nature of mind and its lack of inherent existence. ]
