Artist Statement

I live/work in Brooklyn, my studio- a very process-oriented space.
Magic walks around in there if I can find it.
My process is very physical-a mashup of mine or a model's body (ie: nature) with a dose of the street (ie: anything inorganic- postindustrial, stuff). The camera records, often I'll make paintings using my photos as reference. Oil painting is it's own territory- the idea of making something beautiful from colorful mudpies.
