Artist Statement

Using a figurative language that floats between the distorted and comical, my paintings examine the spectacle of violent acts both coordinated and circumstantial. With an eye on our current economic and political environment, this new series is about our collective fear and attraction to the authority of influence, the euphoria of revolution, as well as revolts media amplification.
