Artist Statement

I have been exploring silk screening glaze onto ceramic slabs and then manipulating the form. Growing up in Montana I was always surrounded by vast horizons with intense landscapes. The structure of nature and environment always plays a role in my journey as a servant to objects/concepts. Material has become important in my investigation of printmaking and sculpture in conjunction with intuition. Breaking the creations down to basic elements of ceramic, light, plastics,
and aluminum.
