Artist Statement

I think of my work as a group of wants:

? The combination of colors and forms - that at a point - almost sings. Think of a tuning fork, something that was just a piece of steel struck at the right point produces a single
clear tone.
? The work needs to be an open loop. The viewer has to finish the piece. What I have to say has to end - so the viewer can begin their own dialogue.
? To have the viewer *feel* the work before they can think about it.
? Simply, to make pictures I would want to see.
