Artist Statement

Pursuing art is never an easy task. That’s why I play. The playfulness of art makes me want to create more art.

My subject matter is usually my daily life. But I also dream; I dream about being in a different place, somewhere I have never been before. I play with the colors of my childhood to make this dream come to life.

I used to look at a children’s dictionary. The illustrations were simple and direct; I perceive life in the same way (well at least my studio life).

I also write, curate and produce major shows.
