Artist Statement

Heavily influenced by American popular culture, radio, television, film, advertising, etc. Working with experimental video referencing the constant relevance of space, time, gravity, upon the human experience. Often these personal miniature clips are woven into larger themes mimicking the increasing speed confronting the human existence. These brief imitations are but small caricatures of the endless barrage of imagery confronted by contemporary society. Included are screen captures of a film produced for a recent solo exhibition with Studio Kura in Itoshima, Japan, during the Fall of 2011.
