Artist Statement

My work deals with the construction of memories and with images as a tool for the creation of personal mythologies. Using video and photography innate ability to give an illusion of a true moment in the past, i construct images, and use a personal documentary archive to create a fragmented story of moments that may or may not have happened. By confining photographs to print or book format I aim to Un-degitize these images, to emphasize the editing process rather then the stream of conscience mode of digital photography in this 'social network period'.
