Artist Statement

I make art in order to tell stories. By culling from both personal photo albums, personal memories and old journals, I aim to create new visual representations of moments in my life that I am or may or may not have access to.

I work in a variety of different media in order to best represent my ideas. Whether it be a canvas stretched on a queen sized mattress or a quilt made from my personal detritus I am to have the meaning imbued in all aspects of my work.
