Artist Statement

Using inspiration from architecture and the built world surrounding us I create layered drawings which are transformed directly into photographic images. Through the use of alternative photographic processes, and by shinning light through my drawings I create mural size images, which have a kinetic quality and engulf the viewer.

I also work with light in relation to iridescent mediums to explore the reflective quality of the drawings.

My studio is in constant flux, I’m usually working on a mixture of large scale drawings, in preparation for the photographic process, as well as small preliminary sketches and silver-pen/iridescent drawings.
