Artist Statement

My paintings are a dalliance between the tangibale and the surreal. These images converge through layers of paint often playing out the force between archetypes verses forms. The background serves as a dense void that commands the flow of conceptual unravelment through numeric order. The process of painting for me is about unfurling imagery within a confined demension. Thus the process in itself executes numerous possibilities. Each painting is one part of a whole story, titled "Dreamscapes One to Infinity".
