Artist Statement

I see my work as a collection of metaphors, that through their material processes aim for a middle ground. The role of each component in my work is fundamentally determined by conscious intention to contradict what I perceive as the common expectations of it. In a world so oversaturated with arbitrary images, products, messages and stereotypes, I try to counterpart by generating visual configurations that will only be intellectually and emotionally trespassed by a conscious desire to do so. Through very simples gestures, I am to generate a new, clearer path to communicate reality hopefully leaving drama behind.
