Artist Statement

Merav Ezer is a Merav Ezer is a multidisciplinary artist who works in sculpture, video, and installation, among other media. Ezer draws her inspiration from sources like movable architecture, transitional spaces, and “do-it-yourself” home repair books, as well as transient public performances such as street theater. Her work engages the concepts of displacement, impermanence, and home while envisioning modern permutations of nomadic shelters. Her interactive performances explore the shifting relationships and boundaries between private and public, as well as inside and outside spaces.
