Artist Statement

i mostly investigate in the magical realms of symbolism, exploring an innovative way to paint an image of contemporary awareness, that allow the viewer's eye to open up to his/hers spirit. often i turn myself into observation of nature to explore its unlimited animals manifestation.
Regarding media i always being inspired by frescoes tecnique, from Giotto to the oldest pigmented frescoes in the Tibetan Monastry, i then reinvented a new media based on marble dust, acrylic gesso and primer, which i often integrate with paper and fabric collage, embroidery, letters stamp, on a cotton canvas that i distress myself.
