Artist Statement
The immediacy of my reactions to a landscape;the ocean; or a nude; is most important to me. Whatever it is that excites me; I do watercolors/pastels on site which I take back to the studio where I create my large paintings in oil. I am currently working on a series of paintings of the ocean; not yet photographed. My work and my artist's statements can be seen on my website; patriciastegmanpainter.com
