Artist Statement

Light and motion, stillness and silence, translucent layers of fabric floating gently in the breeze - an internal landscape of dreams and meditation made manifest in the world with colors, texture and light. Every phase of my work retains its authenticity as an artistic object, from the small pencil sketches, through the two- and three- dimensional pieces in torn paper, the excitement of the tear creating its own energy in the art. As an artist my job is to listen, see and touch the energy - creating living breathing landscapes that adapt and change with the viewer, inviting participation.
