Artist Statement

I’m obsessed with science, science fiction, philosophy, and humor. My favorite thing is to have my mind blown while laughing about it.

In my work, I probe the boundaries of possibility, conceivability and the bizarre in multiple media, including performance, video, sound, and installation. I invent worlds that contain hypothetical technologies, and modified rules of reality, and invite performers, or viewers to interact with them. I’m interested in expanding definitions of identity as they relate to gender, body modification, fashion, and fad, and in manifesting wild objects and concepts in reality.
