Artist Statement

Nick Yulman works with sound, robotics and interactive media in a variety of contexts including installation art, oral history and music. He aims to create work that is adventurous and experimental in its approach while remaining accessible and engaging to a broad range of audiences. He has presented work at venues in New York and beyond including the Museum of the Moving Image, MoMa PS1, Smack Mellon, 92YTribeca, Flux Factory, UnionDocs and the Centre for Contemporary Art Warsaw.

A graduate of NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program(ITP), he will be a Resident Research Fellow there in the coming year.
