Artist Statement

My previous work with fantasy architecture has always borrowed from a spirit of anarchy, function follows arbitrary form. From these new forms the rules change. Ordinary behavior turns into a game, especially when water is malleable, land folds by itself to form buildings, ephemeral materials such as clouds grow into biomorphic architecture or people are arranged on the game board of Earth to fight for arbitrary reasons. "good enough for the people" is a more narrative departure inspired by the words of the anarchist Emma Goldman.
